Inverfyne has a fabulous position above the estuary of the River Fyne with superb views to the head of the Loch. Surrounded by quiet farmland on a 4,000 acre traditional country estate, this extremely spacious holiday home is the ideal setting from which to discover Scotland's glorious scenery, history and culture.
Step out of the house into open hill country and embrace the fresh highland air and wonderful sense of space - Inverfyne is ideal for anyone who loves the peace and tranquillity of the west coast of Scotland.
Ideally positioned for enjoying this naturally beautiful area with many stunning walks and picnic stops to be discovered. Not only is the surrounding landscape home to an amazing range of wildlife such as red squirrels, otters, pine marten and deer but it is also paradise for the keen birdwatcher with many species of birds from seabirds to golden eagles.
The surrounding area of Argyll is packed with wonderful sites and activities for all the family to enjoy. The nearby historic town of Inveraray has many interesting places to visit including the Castle (home of the Duke of Argyll), Inveraray Jail, a Maritime Museum and the Bell Tower with a world famous peal of ten bells. Argyll Adventure Park offers a good day for all ages with riding, laser blast arena, laser clay shooting, bungee trampolines and a climbing wall. There is a quad bike safari base at Ardentinny & wonderful garden walks through the Ardkinglas Woodland Garden in Cairndow, The Botanic Garden on Loch Eck (an outpost of the Edinburgh Botanic Garden) and Crarae at Mindard south of Inveraray owned by the National Trust.
The estate has trout fishing and deer stalking available by separate arrangement.
